MBM contributed quantity surveying expertise on the extensive refurbishment and new construction of the Quincy Hotel.

The Quincy Hotel project involved a comprehensive redevelopment starting with the full demolition of an existing multi-level commercial space followed by the refurbishment of an adjacent hotel structure. Designed to seamlessly integrate the old with the new, the project aimed to preserve the rich heritage of the surrounding area while introducing modern luxuries.

The new 8-storey structure features over 200 rooms in addition to a variety of high-end amenities including bars, a fine dining restaurant, gym, retail spaces, a feature atrium, and a full-sized swimming pool. Approximately 90 rooms in the existing hotel were fully refurbished to elevate them to 5-star standards. The works included significant heritage restorations, extensions to the existing structure, the creation of an immersive courtyard, and the development of a transitional corridor that connects the newly-built hotel with the existing hotel.

MBM contributed to the initial stages of the project by providing accurate estimating services during the concept design phase. The early intervention helped in setting realistic financial expectations and guiding the architectural and engineering designs toward cost-effective solutions.

Throughout the project, MBM delivered comprehensive cost planning and management services. Our team’s attention to detail supported the  ambitious scope without compromising the premium quality standards expected of a 5-star hotel.
